You give it a picture, or five hundred pictures. You write some wording or open a logo file. You decide how big it is relative to each frame, where it sits, whether it repeats across the whole picture, and how visible it should be. It draws that onto every file and hands the files back. That is the entire product, and the depth is in the edge cases rather than in the feature list.

It is a page, not a service. There is no account, no upload, no queue on someone else’s machine and no copy of your work anywhere but your own disk. Your files stay on your disk. This page reads them, draws the mark, writes new files, and keeps nothing — there is no server behind it for a copy to go to.

The largest search category next to this one is people wanting a mark taken off a picture. That work is legitimate — plenty of people own a picture they marked years ago and have lost the original — and it is not done here, in any form.

The reason is straightforward. A site that sells you a mark and then sells you its removal cannot be believed about either. Every honest sentence on this site about what a mark is worth — and there are a lot of them, because that honesty is the point — would be worth nothing if the tool next door undid it for a click. So this site gives up that traffic on purpose, and the guides say plainly what a mark cannot do instead of implying it can do more.
