Try it first

Play with a live sample

Take or pick a photo, add your name, and save it back to your gallery — no app, and it keeps working offline once loaded. Move the controls — open your photo and the same studio fills with it.

A drawing, not a photograph — but the mark on it is real work. It is laid down by the same renderer that writes your files, from the same settings, at the reduced size a preview uses. Move the grid or the opacity in the inspector and this redraws.

Drop one photo or three hundred. Set the mark once. Every file gets the same one.

No app needed

Many watermark apps ask for an install and an account, and some add their own logo to the result unless you pay. This page asks for none of that. It runs in the browser you already have, opens one photo at a time when you choose it, and writes the marked copy back to you.

Taking and marking a photo

Take a photoThe button under the main one opens the camera straight away.
Choose a photoThe main button opens your gallery or files — several photos at once open the folder run.
Mark itYour name starts in the bottom right in black or white, whichever reads on that photo. Drag it where you want it; size and opacity are sliders in the sheet below the picture.
SaveOne button. The file is made on the phone.

The same studio as on a computer opens underneath, with the panels as a sheet you scroll with your thumb: text, logo, a signature you draw with your finger, a camera-data band, a repeated lattice, effects.

Saving to the gallery

Browsers save files to Downloads, not to Photos. Where the browser can hand a file to the phone’s share sheet, a second button appears after saving — choose Save Image or your gallery app there, or send the photo straight to a chat. After saving you also get a line of suggested alt text built from your settings, ready to paste when you post.

Working offline

The first visit to this page asks the browser to keep the site’s code, fonts and illustrations, so later visits open without a connection. That cache holds code only — never a photo, a setting or a model file — and the privacy page says how to remove it.

  • The subject check that suggests a spot away from faces needs its model downloaded once with a connection; everything else works offline.
  • Very large photos may be opened as a lighter copy on phones with little memory; the page asks first.

Watermark on phone questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. This page is the app: open it in your phone's browser, take a photo or pick one, and mark it. If you use it often, your browser's “Add to Home Screen” puts it on your home screen like an app, and it opens full screen from there.

Can I save straight to my gallery?

On phones whose browser can share files — most recent iPhones and Android phones — a “Save to gallery or share” button appears after you save. It opens the phone's share sheet with the marked photo; choose Save Image (iPhone) or your gallery app. Where that is not available, the photo goes to your downloads.

Does it work offline?

Once you have opened this page with a connection, its code, fonts and illustrations are kept in your browser, so it opens and marks photos without one. Your photos are never part of that — they are not uploaded when you are online, and they are not stored when you are offline.

Will it work with iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes. iPhone photos in HEIC open here; the marked copy is saved as JPG, because a browser cannot write HEIC.
